If you have already applied and been approved for this program in the past, you are only required to reapply every 4 years from your application approval date.
In July of 2019, owners of property located within the City of Cupertino voted to approve the Clean Water and Storm Protection Fee.
The new fee will be collected on your annual property tax bill. Revenues will be used to prevent trash and other pollutants from flowing into local creeks and the Bay. It also ensures proactive maintenance of the storm drain system.
On August 20, 2019 Council voted to provide a cost-share program to help reduce the financial impact the fee may have on low income property owners. Property owners with a combined household income less than or equal to the limits below may qualify for a 20% subsidy.
